If you like your fiction in small chunks, then Out of the Storm is what you need. This is an anthology of 12 short stories, all around the theme of “storms,” real or metaphorical.
My flying story, “Squall Line,” won First Place in the Contemporary category. (Click here for a sneak peek behind the scenes on the story.)
A good friend, Terrie Todd, won Second Place with her Christmas story, “Dorothy’s Carol.” A third friend, Ralph D. James, took First Place in the Combined category with his western, “Just West of Clovis.”
The anthology is the product of the 2014 “Writers on the Storm” Short Story Contest conducted by a Texas chapter of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW). Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Scholarship Fund of the ACFW. Give yourself a treat and help out some others while you do. Click on that Amazon button!
